Intravenous (IV) therapy is the administration of fluids, vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and medications directly into the bloodstream. By giving these micro-nutrients through an IV, the GI system is bypassed, which increases bioavailability as well as speeds up the results felt.

Intramuscular (IM) injections are the administration of micro-nutrients into the muscles, usually the gluteal muscle (buttock). Like IV therapy, IM injections have a much higher absorption rate, but they take significantly less time to administer.

-Higher absorption rate. IV nutrients are absorbed and utilized at about 90% absorption rate. Oral vitamins have about a 30% absorption rate.
-Results are felt quickly, usually in 15-90 minutes.

IV therapy is used for various purposes, such as rehydrating after physical exertion or stomach bug, administering medications, supporting immune function, providing nutritional support, and promoting overall wellness.

Usually about 30 minutes to an hour depending on catheter size, your veins, and your body’s needs.

Side effects are rare, but some individuals may experience mild bruising, discomfort at the injection site, or a slight lightheaded feeling. Our nurses will monitor you throughout the session to ensure your comfort and safety.

Most pregnant and breastfeeding women can receive services. All clients have their medical history reviewed by our RN and a physician or PA prior to services. Your safety is our number one goal.

IV therapy is contraindicated for those who have liver or kidney disease or CHF. Some ingredients are contraindicated with certain allergies. Also, all clients must be 18 years or older.
Everyone will complete a consultation with one of our physicians or PAs prior to service to ensure IV therapy is safe and beneficial.
